1.70 lakh families have received kits containing Bedsheets, Sarees, Towels and Dhotis.
1 lakh students of government schools in flood affected areas have received school bags with books, pens and pencils.
60,000 people in flood affected areas in Kurnool, Mahabunagar, Krishna, Nalgonda and Guntur districts have received free medical aid. Trust played a key role in preventing epidemics after the floods.
2.5 lakh people living in rural areas have been provided free Primary and Preventive Health care including free medicines at their door steps through NTR Arogya Rathams (Mobile clinics).
30,000 people have been provided safe blood/ components through our Blood Banks in Hyderabad and Guntur. The 24x7 call centre located at Hyderabad blood bank received more than 9000 call requests and arranged nearly 7000 blood units and blood components to people in hospitals even in the remotest part of Andhra Pradesh.
650 students have received free quality education in NTR Model School. Eligible students received financial aid to pursue higher educations - 91 for Intermediate, 25 Engineering and other professional courses in 2009.
1290 women and youth living in rural areas have been trained in various trades and 250 people have been supported in starting their own enterprises.
20,000 people have received free medical services and medicines during Dengue outbreak in Karimnagar district in the month of November 2009.
